◆eat v.
Please help yourself.

He ate his breakfast quickly.
We have [take, eat] three meals a day.
Eat up your dinner.
The flames ate up the forest.
I’m too tired to cook tonight; shall we eat out?
◆education n.
He has had very little education.

He’s had a good education.
A child receives its early education at home.
He was fortunate enough to receive a college education.
I wish to have the chance to receive a higher education.
the older generation 老一代

The plan has been carried [put, brought] into effect.
All our efforts were of no effect.
The new law will take effect next May.
