Zi qin once asked Mohist, "Teacher, it is true that the more you say the more attention you will get from people?"
Mohist answered, "The grog and hop toad never stop shouting from day to night, but they get little from people. The rooster only sings only for a few minutes in the morning and wakes up all the people. So, it is not necessarily advisable to speak a lot."
It doesn't matte how much you say, what matters is whether you can hit the nail on the head.
James and John were good friends. For many years, James has had complete trust in John.
At the beginning, James invited John to manage his housekeeping, and when he was serving as a governor, he invited John to assist him with his business. Because James trusted John completely, he kept nothing from him.
James did not realize how despicable John was until John usurped all his property, which James dared not disclose, considering that John had gotten told of his demerits. Thedepressed James came to the Cheng Huang Temple, having no alternative, to vent his anger, and accused John for his wrongdoing.
At night, James dreamed that Cheng Huang asked him why he trusted John so much he thought for a long time, and replied, "Because he can make everything go as I have wished." Cheng Huang said, "Such a man is the most dangerous! You do not fear him but like him, making you the best choice for him to deceive?"

There were two boats sailing on the river. If an empty boat clashed into them at this time, the people on the boats would not be angry even they were narrow-minded.
But, under another circumstance, if that boat carried one or more people instead of being empty, the people on those two proceeding boats would definitely ask that boat to give way to them. Once not answered, they would call and ask again. At the third time, there would be some abusive words. Know why? They were angry and utter out such words because they knew there must be some people on that boat.
